Location: Saaristobaari is located on Aurakatu 14, on the hill towards the Turku Art Museum.

Entrance: There is a 125cm long ramp from the direction of the Art Museum, at the top of which there is a 90 degree turn to the right. The door opens from the left side (hinges on the right), i.e. in the direction of the ramp. However, the door is open during the party. The width of the doorway is 88cm (+20cm when opening the side door) and there is a total of 5cm rising through three steps.

There are 5 stairs in the one square-sized lobby, which are 19 cm high. On the right side there is an elevator that you turn 90 degrees to, and the doorway that opens outwards from the right of the elevator (hinges on the left) is 90cm. The dimensions of the elevator are 146cm width, 100cm depth.

The elevator rises about a meter, in the elevator you turn 90 degrees to the left to another door. The 90cm wide outwards door (hinges on the right) on the second floor leads to a threshold-free dressing room, which is not in use during the evening. In the room, make a 90-degree turn to the left and open the last door that opens outwards from the left (hinges on the right) to the restaurant corridor, which gives access to all parts of the bar.

The bar is divided into two parts, the pub side and the club side. Bingo and burlesque shows are on the pub side, bands and DJs perform on the club side. There is a bar counter on both sides where you can buy drinks. On the club side is the Turku Baletti’s Kinky Lounge, where moving can be cramped.

All toilets are gender-neutral. A more spacious toilet can be found on the club side, next to the Kinky Lounge. There is a small room and two doors between the toilet and the party room. The door is kept open during parties because it is difficult to open. The door opens from the left side (hinges on the right) and the doorway is 86cm wide, the door of the toilet on the opposite wall of the room is 90cm wide. Next to the toilet seat there is a wooden support for the right hand and the left side is free.

On the club side, after the toilet and Kinky Lounge, before the stage, dance floor, and bar counter, there are small stairs and a ramp. The ramp is 90cm wide, 15cm high, and 57cm long. The ramp angle is about 26 degrees. The ramp has one sharp turn.

We try to get general assistants from the Assistance Center to attend the parties. Personal assistants can enter free of charge with a person showing an EU disability card. A separate assistant card is not required.

The party program is not interpreted into sign language. Interpreters for sign language and speech impaired people can enter with the customer free of charge.

There will be loud music and flashing lights at the parties. We ask that you avoid strong perfumes. However, we cannot guarantee this, so you may be exposed to strong odors at the parties. The smoking area is located near the entrance.

The kitchen at Saaristobaari is closed during parties, which means that no food will be served at the party.

During the party, you can go outside and come back inside if you wish. There are harassment contact people at the party, who you can recognize by their pink vest. They will help if the principles of a safer space are violated during the party.
